This year we are delighted to announce Smoke & Fire Events, organiser of the award-winning Smoke & Fire Festivals, the nation’s Largest BBQ and Outdoor cooking Festival, as our new BBQ partners at Red Rooster.
They promise to bring their Low n Slow BBQ and Live Fire skills to curate the dawn of our new Red Roaster BBQ Pit arena, where you can expect some of the most experienced and exciting fire cooks and BBQ Pitmasters.
Pat and Jim from Smokin' Soul Ireland, International Competition Pitmaster Phil Wingo of 'Pork Mafia' from Chicago, and Micheal and Thomas of Origins BBQ, will all be on hand to offer up some great interactive demonstrations, passing on a ton of practical skills and also some great tasting food!

Although he’s out of Chicago, Phil travels across the States, and the globe, for the love of BBQ. A well-established Pitmaster on the competition circuit but Phil is also Head Honcho for the ‘PorkMafia’ line of rubs and seasonings, which keep many a busy smokehouse stocked up on flavour across the globe.
Origins BBQ was founded by two trained chefs Michael Gasson and Thomas Rose. Tired of working to the constraints of a busy kitchen and looking to share their passion for BBQ and Live fire cooking, they decided to found Origins BBQ and share that passion with the world. Michael has 16 years of kitchen experience, including stints at Mark Sargents 3 AA Rosette restaurant ‘Rocksalt’ and has worked alongside the late Gary Rhodes. Needless to say, with the level of experience Michael and Thomas have gained over their careers, you’re gonna’ be in safe hands at Red Rooster.
Ireland’s Pat and Jim of Smokin’ Soul represent the very essence of authentic BBQ, famously making all their own equipment and cooking all their own BBQ food. They have a down to earth approach and attitude close to our hearts at Red Rooster and we can’t wait for you to taste some of the most incredible BBQ out there.

FireFly Competiton BBQ sauce was voted the Best BBQ sauce in its category at the prestigious American Royal in Kansas City out of over 500 entries worldwide.
