Bristol singer Beth Rowley acknowledges her early influences were from Gospel Spirituals, Soul and Blues inherited from her parents, who brought her up on Led Belly, Mahalia Jackson and Willie Nelson. Her new sound has grown edgier, deeper and louder with more than hints of 70’s electric guitar, gritty harmonica and americana influenced pedal steel. In 2019 Beth’s sold out a UK headline tour, included Londons The Jazz Cafe and the Royal Albert Hall, in support of Jools Holland. Her new project is a stripped back, intimate collection of Americana inspired lullaby's. Whether she performs with her 4 piece band or a stripped back duo, it is clear to see that the years of performing have grown in her a confidence that only experience and commitment to your art will allow.
