George Hume and The Pity Party

Georgie Hume & The Pity Party are a London based trio led by guitarist George Hume, who's instrumental sound incorporates a blend of early 60's Jamaican jazz, Cuban inspired rhythms alongside a dose of Bakersfield country twang, creating a sound thats been described as 'Tropical Jazz’, citing Ernest Ranglin, Marc Ribot and Jim Campilongo as influences.

Formed in London in 2023, also featuring Silas Maitland on bass and Loris Peverani on drums their debut EP was released in February, 2024 receiving early support from Jazz FM and Soho Radio. They finished the year with a sold out show at Camden venue Green Note. The trio's debut album is set for release in 2025.
